Basic troubleshooting ideas

The first step to troubleshoot connection problems would be to ping the server and iLO (IPKvm) to ensure the server is up and running. This is a pretty simple test but can be extremely effective. First off, open Command prompt on your computer, and execute "ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" but instead replace the "X's" with either your Main IP or IPKVM we provided you in your client portal. - This will show you if the server is currently connected to the internet. If the Main IP is not pingable but the IPKVM is, the server may be off. - At this point you will have to log into your IPKVM and send the command to power back on. If both are not pingable, they may be disconnected. If both are not pingable, the server may have encountered a hardware error or has been disconnected on our side. - Note: If you are late on a payment for the following system, we turn off the switch ports for the server until we receive payment.
